The Valley Road from Dover.  The men in the
'past' photos were sitting by the chevron

Crosses were put by the side of Slip Lane in 2014 to
commemorate those who fell in WWI.

The village green was known as Vicarage Meadow as it was
owned by the church. The photo shows the celebration
when it was bought by the Parish in 2003

The village green when it was flooded in
2001/2 by the Nailbourne flowing

A heavy downpour in January 2015 made Slip Lane a river
and flooded the Valley Road leading to closure

The flood ended up on the village green but later subsided
as it was not ground water like the Nailbourne
