The Marquis of Granby

The Marquis of Granby was a public house made into an upmarket hotel & restaurant, The Marquis at Alkham, (above)
In 2019, it sold and became The Marquis of Granby again... Having the best of both worlds.  Pub-feel, plus a lot more...
It's in the village centre, at the bottom of the Forstal (where stray livestock was kept) which leads to the church.
Up to 1918, the village well was to the right of the pub  Meet us there...!  WebsiteThe Marquis of Granby
